Politechnika Warszawska (WUT)

The Warsaw University of Technology is one of the leading universities in Poland, and one of the largest in Central Europe. A mission of WUT is to answer the challenges of a modern science and an economy through a technology transfer, i.e. offering the results of research with their specific applications in mind. WUT employs 2466 teaching faculty, with 271 titular professors. The student body numbers 37,000, mostly full-time. There are 19 faculties covering almost all fields of science and technology. The Faculty of Electronics and Multimedia Technology is one of the leading scientific institutions in Poland with more than 3800 graduate and postgraduate students. Research activities of the Faculty include: acoustics, robotics, electronics, information technologies, biomedical engineering, microelectronics, optoelectronics, measurements systems, multimedia technologies and telecommunications.
