Andrés Felipe Betancur Pérez

Andrés Felipe Betancur Pérez is an electronic engineer from the university of Antioquia in Colombia. He finished his MSc study in telecommunications engineering with the investigation about flexible wavelength conversion for high speed optical networks. He supported investigations on visible light communication technology using RGB sensors and CSK modulation in the Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano. At present, he's working at Universidad Carlos III Madrid as a research assistant through the ITN CELTA Project of the European Union, who's trying to make Terahertz technology reliable and cost effective. His role in the project is achieving a highly integrated Optical Comb Generator along the Subterahertz and Terahertz frequency range for spectroscopy and telecommunication purposes.
